Habitat
The African wild dog is nomadic, and requires vast tracks of land to
accommodate their migratory life style. Their preferred habitat is savannah,
plains, swamps, semi desert and mountains of up to 3,000m. They are
constantly on the move and under
continuous
threat of being killed.
Not only are they on the decline so is their habitat
due to:
- Farming
- Community Development
- Industry
- Conservation Land /Tourism
