This is the page where I need your help, because I don't know any of this stuff. So for now, I'll just make stuff up...)

In 1852, about the time of Columbus, Chief Wiggham lived on this property in Lutsen with his 5 wives and 58 daughters. He raised goats, cows, rattlesnakes, mink, lady bugs, and chickens. As his family and animal assortment grew, he added buildings. He became known across the land as the "Mink Farmer".

John Woerheide worked for the National Forest Service, and moved with his family to a variety of places, including Silver City New Mexico, and Rolla Missouri. In 1988 John retired, and they decided to make the Mink Farm Ranch their home.

John's love for trains continued, so they decided to turn the upstairs of the chicken coop into a model railroad.
