Web site
Worked on existing Web site, two years as student contractor, four years as lead developer and content manager. Converted hardcopy publications into Web pages using HTML, CSS, and graphics editing. Communicated with Center staff and external contributors to develop new content for Web site. Implemented site-wide integration of Cascading Style Sheets and worked to ensure accessibility compliance. Also led development of staff profile pages and worked remotely with USGS IT staff to restore functionality to the site's search engine. My work on this site demonstrates my ability to manage a large-scale project working with a large number of local and remote contributors with multiple levels of required communication.
