Jason Graening is a professional Web developer / programmer. He began attending classes for the Internet Design Technology program at Minnesota State Community and Technical College in the fall of 2002. He graduated from the program in the spring of 2004 with a 3.8 G.P.A.
Being an avid Internet user, Jason's curiosity was sparked when he found out that people made careers out of designing and maintaining Web sites. In 2000, he taught himself the Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) and started on a journey into the world of Web design. Finally, wanting to learn more in a classroom setting, enrolled at Northwest Technical College (which later became Minnesota State Community and Technical College), to broaden his skills in the craft.
Creativity has always been a strong point of Jason's since he was a young boy and has a solid background in art and music. He was chosen in high school as the "Artist of the Year" for his skills in painting and free-hand drawing. Jason has also taught himself how to play the drums and the guitar and has been in a handful of local bands. In his opinion, creating Web sites is a way for him to use his creative skills in other areas, and was a logical progression for him to grow as a person.
