WEB DESIGN (ADOBE DREAMWEAVER 8)

What is Adobe Dreamweaver or simply Dreamweaver? Dreamweaver is a web development tool, originally created by Macromedia. Initial versions of the application served as simple WYSIWYG HTML editors but more recent versions have incorporated notable support for many other web technologies such as CSS, JavaScript, and various server-side scripting frameworks. Dreamweaver allows users to preview websites in many browsers, provided that they are installed on their computer. It also has some site management tools, such as the ability to find and replace lines of text or code by whatever parameters specified across the entire site, and a templatization feature for creating multiple pages with similar structures.

Cookies By Design

Mock Web site: For this project I was required created a redesign proposal for an existing Web site (www.cookiesbydesign.com). This project was done to help me learn new skills and tools to redesign a existing web site and not just creating one from scratch. The graphics designed on this page were created using Adobe Photoshop and the layout was created using HTML and CSS. The pages created include a Home page, an About Us page, a Products page which used a Dreamweaver template to create repeating instances for product items, and a Catalog Request page using different types of HTML form elements.

Perham Community Church

Live Web Site: This six page web site was created for Perham Community Church. The project included a Welcome, Beliefs, Adult Ministries, Children/Youth Ministries, Contact Us, and a Links page with RSS feeds. The site was designed using Adobe Dreamweaver, Photoshop, CSS, and PHP and implemented using Joomla, which is an award-winning Content Management System (CMS) that will help you build websites and other powerful online applications. Joomla is an open source solution that is freely available to everybody.
